Dubai Creek Is Getting an AED80 Million Nighttime Transformation

One of Dubai’s oldest neighbourhoods is preparing for a major nighttime transformation as Dubai Municipality develops a new lighting system across **eight kilometres of Dubai Creek**.
The AED80 million Dubai Creek Lights project will introduce more than 5,000 lighting units across six prominent areas.
These include Al Shindagha Historic District, Bur Dubai Souq, Al Seef Marina, the Gold Souq promenade, Creek Quay and the Creek entrance close to Infinity Bridge.
Instead of illuminating every section in the same way, the design will respond to the architecture and character of each destination.
