Residents can nominate their visitors through the official Visit Dubai website.

The registration process requires information including the resident’s Emirates ID, date of birth and email address, along with the visitor’s passport number, nationality, date of birth and expected arrival month.

Participants can nominate up to five visitors arriving together. Once at least one nominated guest reaches Dubai, the reward package is activated.

The resident should receive an email explaining how to redeem the offers within approximately three working days, or 72 hours, after the visitor’s arrival.

## **What perks are included?**

The package includes a mix of complimentary experiences and discounted offers across Dubai.

### **Hotel offers**

Available benefits include:

The benefits package also features selected two-for-one dining offers, fixed-value restaurant discounts and savings on transport.

These include 20 per cent off eligible Careem rides and Hala taxi journeys, along with a three-month Careem Plus membership.

## **How long are the rewards valid?**

Most offers remain valid until **December 31, 2026**, unless an individual benefit states a different expiry date.

The deals are expected to become active from August, and participants can receive a maximum of three reward packages during the campaign.

## **Do all nominated visitors need to arrive?**

No. Only one person from a registered group needs to arrive for the resident’s reward package to be activated.

Residents can nominate as many visitors as they wish during the campaign, but only up to five can be included in a single nomination.

## **Why Dubai launched the initiative**

The programme is being led by Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism as part of efforts to encourage more international visitors and support the city’s hotels, restaurants and leisure attractions.

It also turns residents into ambassadors for Dubai by rewarding them for inviting loved ones to experience the city they call home.

## **Why this matters**

Many UAE residents regularly host relatives and friends travelling from abroad.

This initiative gives them additional value for doing so, with rewards covering accommodation, dining, attractions and transport. For Dubai’s tourism sector, it offers a direct way to encourage visits through personal recommendations from people already living in the UAE.
