These Indian and Filipino Tourists Can Now Get a UAE Visa on Arrival

Travelling to the UAE has become easier for eligible visitors from several countries. The UAE has expanded its visa-on-arrival programme, allowing qualifying travellers from **India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Kenya and South Africa** to obtain a visa upon arrival instead of applying in advance.
## **Who Is Eligible?**
The visa-on-arrival facility is available to nationals of:
- India - Philippines - Indonesia - Vietnam - Thailand - Kenya - South Africa
To qualify, travellers must:
- Hold an **ordinary passport**. - Have a **valid visa or residence permit** issued by one of the following: - United States - United Kingdom - Any European Union member state - Canada - Australia - New Zealand - Japan - Singapore - South Korea
Accompanying family members travelling with eligible passengers can also benefit from the scheme, provided they meet the required conditions.
## **Visa Options Available**
Eligible travellers can choose between:
- **14-day visa on arrival** - Fee: **AED 100** - Can be extended once for another **14 days** for **AED 250**. - **60-day visa on arrival** - Fee: **AED 250** - **Not extendable**.
## **How to Apply**
Travellers can:
- Obtain the visa directly upon arrival at UAE entry points. - Complete the process through **GDRFA Dubai’s digital channels**, where applicable.
## **Why the UAE Expanded the Programme**
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) said the expansion is designed to:
